Saree enhances as well as increases the beauty of a lady. It reflects the sense, elegance, style, grace. It provides you an attractive identity. If properly dressed a simple outfit also gives you perfect look and when it is a matter of saree you should be properly dressed.

An Underskirt called as Petticoat is worn before wearing a Saree. It is the most essential part of the Saree. It is tied around the body with a knot. Now hold the inner upper edge of the Saree and tuck it into the petticoat such that its lower border may fall up to floor level.
Now drape the Saree around the body keeping in view that the lower border remains touches the ground. Tuck the upper border in the petticoat. Then make a few straight plates from the right side and tuck them inside the petticoat such that the lower border touches the ground.
Now bring around the other end of the saree that is the Pallav and hold it in your right hand and then pass it onto the left hand and put it on your left shoulder allowing to fall on back.
