Jalebi

Ingredients-

1/2 cup white flour or maida
1 cup Water
2 tsp Yoghurt or dahi
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Yeast
Oil for frying
A pinch of salt
A little oil
A few strands of saffron

Method-

1. Make a mixture of the dahi, saffron, maida and yeast with a little oil and let it rise for several hours.
2. In a saucepan, boil sugar and water till you have a thick two-strand chasni. Keep it warm on the stove.
3. Fill the above mixture into a squeeze bottle and squeeze shapes into the hot oil and drain quickly.
4. Dip in chasni for 1-2 minutes and drain.
Place the juicy jalebis in a plate and serve hot.
